following previous work with a rule of tum's other ventures, I was asked by the team to produce a new logo and range of assets for their new business barabeka, an indian barbeque bar located within the yard of their other establishments; the bookshop and burger shop, hereford.
the name is a play on word in punjab for barbeque and the team wanted to focus on indian cuisine within the asset design as well as the punjab language within the logo design.
for the primary logo, I experimented with the traditional concept of a mandala as a dream and journey for their business and included particular iconography that was personal to the head chef and business to produce a mandala relevant to the business and where it's heading.
